--> actually last week ko pa ito tapos basahin..kc pinapasauli n saken but still it is very worthwhile reading one of paulo coelho's books...medyo i find it boring kc hinaluan ng religion knitty gritty...but as a whole ayos sya... here posted are the lines that interests me while reading...la lang just again to remind myself...it is a story about pilar and his childhood friend who became a spiritual leader.. they both love each other way back then and they both have to follow their calling..e calling nung guy na maging spiritual warrior that cures pips and at the same time she still love pilar.. nagkaroon ng conflict sa love nya between kay God at kay pilar...but in the end he chooses pilar and still continue their calling together...

some people always have to be doing battle with someone, sometimes even with their own lives. So they begin to create a kind of play in their head, and they write the script based on their frustrations.
the worst part is that they cannot present the play by themselves.. so they begin to invite other actors to join in.

Wandering.. I wished I were there with someone who could bring peace to my heart - someone with whom I could spend a little time without being afraid that I would lose him the next day. with that assurance, the time would pass more slowly. we could be silent for a while because we'd know we had the rest of our lives together for conversation. i wouldn't have to worry about serious matters, about difficult decisions and hard words.

I realized that i had known nothing of love before. When i saw him at the conference and accepted his invitation, i'd thought that i, as a mature woman, would be able to control the heart of the girl who had been looking for so long for her prince. then he had spoken about the child in all of us - and i'd heard again the voice of the child i had been, of the princess who was fearful of loving and losing..

I had tried to ignore my heart's voice, but it had grown louder and louder, and the Other had become desperate. In the furthest corner of my soul, my true self still existed, and I still believed in my dreams. Before the Other could say a word, I had accepted the ride with him and take the risks involved.

Love had found me, despite the barricade that the Other had built across a quiet street in Zaragosa, a barricade of preconceived ideas, stubborn opinions, and textbooks.

And like a child, i believed that our prayers would be answered..

True love was above all that and that it would be better to die than to fail to love....

I discovered that i too was capable of loving. Even if loving meant leaving, or solitude, or sorrow, love was worth every penny of its price.

Love doesn't ask many questions, because if we stop to think we become fearful....thats why you don't ask - you act..you have to take risks..
